On February 4 this year, Mayors for Peace held a Peace Education Webinar: Report on Peace Activities by Youth, focusing on peace activities by young people in member cities in Japan, who are conducting their activities having taken on the A-bomb and war experiences and survivors' wishes for peace.
The session was livestreamed via Zoom.
Thirteen young people from Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and eight other cities and organizations in Japan who are engaged in peace activities participated in this webinar.
They gave presentations on their own peace activities, answered questions from the audience, and engaged in a lively discussion about how to involve people who are not interested in peace activities.
We look forward to their further activities in the future.
