Explanation in picture
As the tremendous pillar of fire whirled higher, the debris it sucked up sparkled in the sunlight, at once horrifying and unspeakably beautiful. On this clear mid-summer day, that mushroom was the only cloud in the sky. Here and there, rays of sunlight broke through.
