Interpreting consultants offer daily life consultations with foreign residents who have concerns about living in Japan, provide daily life information, and interpret for foreign residents when they visit places such as government offices.
When torrential rains caused disasters in the region in July 2018, the interpreting consultants received consultations from foreign residents in the affected areas, connected them with the relevant sections at city hall and other government bodies, and accompanied them as interpreters, providing helping them with various disaster-related procedures and support.
