Hiroshima Peace Forum
The Hiroshima Peace Forum, which is co-sponsored by the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation and Hiroshima City, has been held since 2002 and is an opportunity for citizens to take another look at Hiroshima as the "home of peace" and think about what can be done regarding peace and atomic bombs. It was held six times, from May to July this year, on every other Saturday, and there were 94 attendees, ranging from teenagers to 70-year-olds.
  As in the previous year, a Hiroshima City University course "Peace Studies in Hiroshima: Learning Practical Measures" was held in conjunction with the forum, to learn from

outside specialists about the inheritance of A-bomb experiences and hands-on peace activities, and the two complemented each other, enhancing the content of the course. In addition, the results of the group discussions were presented in a symposium format, so there was a very lively exchange of views.
