Starting in fiscal year 2025, to help build a powerful movement for peace with peace-loving people in Japan and around the world, we have created badges bearing the slogan "We're Peace-Loving Citizens!" We distribute these badges to participants in peace-related events and sell them at the Museum shop, "PEACE CREATION FACTORY".
This year's badges are made of paper recycled from origami cranes offered to the Children's Peace Monument in Peace Memorial Park. We believe our badges carry the wishes for peace folded into those paper cranes. Each individually crafted badge embodies our resolve for peace.
We hope that by wearing this badge, more and more people will express their solidarity, carry forward the wishes of the atomic bomb victims, and help expand the movement for peace.
