　The Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation is active in disseminating pacifist thinking and promoting international mutual understanding and cooperation based on Hiroshima’s experiences of the A-bombing. The foundation has received financial assistance for its operation from Hiroshima City as a peace promotion organization that aims at the realization of world peace, and has asked for the cooperation of volunteers who agree with its purposes.
　The donated money will be reserved as the foundation’s fundamental property. The operational fruit would best be put to use as the budget for promoting its projects. Therefore, all donated money will support activities of the foundation for many years to come.

  • How to donate

    (1) For bank transfers, we would greatly appreciate it if you could inform us in advance for the speedy procedures to send necessary documents, including a thank-you note.
    (2) For registered mail, a receipt will be sent after a few days.
    (3) When delivering your donation in person on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays, please understand that a receipt will not be issued on that day.
    (4) For donations from outside Japan, we would appreciate it if you could contact our General Affairs Division in advance via e-mail or other means.
    (5) Names of donors including individuals and organizations are posted on the foundation’s website. If you do not wish your name to appear on the website, please let us know.

Membership for Sustaining / Supporting Members
　As a peace promotion organization that promotes the dissemination of pacifist thoughts as well as international mutual understanding and cooperation aimed at the realization of world peace on the basis of the experience of the A-bombing of Hiroshima, the Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation receives financial support for its operation from Hiroshima City. We at the Foundation ask for volunteer cooperation of those who agree with our purposes.
　Our sustaining and supporting members will receive: (1) the foundation’s newsletters by mail, and (2) invitation letters to lectures and various courses. We ask our members to financially support us for the promotion of peace.
  • Sustaining members: The annual membership fee is 10,000 yen or more, which will be used as promotion costs for projects such as publications and exhibitions.
  • Supporting members: Each member must pay at least 100,000 yen, as a lump sum or as an installment plan over several years. The money will be saved up as the foundation’s base capital.
