Criterium Race in Hiroshima City – Hiroshima city will host a road bicycle race for the first time!

A road bicycle race, Hiroshima Criterium, will be held on Sunday, July 1, which will be the first road bicycle race held in the city. You can watch the race live and see the Japan's top riders’ speed past.

DATE & TIME:
Sunday, July 1, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Nishi-ku Shoko Center (Commerce Center)
ACCESS:
10 minutes’ walk from the Shin-Inokuchi JR Station or the Shoko Center Iriguchi streetcar stop. There is no parking available. Please use public transportation.
SCHEDULE:
Professional riders racing will start at 12:55 pm.

*You can join the parade and ride together with the professional riders on your bicycle. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Children under the age of 13 years should wear helmets. No reservation required.

MEETING POINT: Gather at Chusho Kigyo Kaikan (Shoko Center 1-14-1, Nishi-ku) with your bicycle.

Prefectural Housing Available

Qualification guidelines and application forms are available at the Jutaku Ka (Housing Division) of the Hiroshima Prefectural Government Office (10-52 Motomachi, Naka-ku) and Kenchiku Ka (Architectural Division) of your local ward office. Applications must be submitted between Tuesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 21. Please apply in person at the Ken Biru Maintenance Kyodo Kumiai (Tel. 261-7907), or at your local ward office’s Kenchiku Ka in person. Applications for Dai-ni Kamiyasu Housing will be accepted in person at Godo Sangyo Kabushiki Gaisha (Tel. 245-2333).

Extended Child Care Services during School Summer Holidays Available

FEE:
¥ 2,400 / year (fiscal year) The service is available until the end of March, 2019. There is fee reduction or exemption for those who meet the conditions.
