Subsidy for Cultural Activities

WHO:
Groups or individuals who will hold cultural activities in Hiroshima City between April and September 2019 and will exhibit/present to the public.
SUBSIDY AMOUNT:
Half of the activity expenses, up to 200,000 yen
APPLICATION:
Send a prescribed application form postmarked by Friday, December 28 to Bunka Zaidan Jigyo Ka (The Hiroshima City Cultural Foundation, Project Division). The applications are available at Bunka Zaidan and can also be downloaded through Hiroshima City’s official website. Applicant screening will be held.

Submit a prescribed application between Friday, January 4 and Monday, February 4 to the International Relations and Cooperation Division, Hiroshima Peace Culture Foundation. The application forms are available at the division and online at the division’s official website:http://www.pcf.city.hiroshima.jp/ircd/ Applicant screening will be held. Before applying, please consult the Division.

Nursery Rooms for Sick Children

Your child is sick, but you can’t stay home. There are nursery rooms which provide day care service for sick children.

WHO:
Children of elementary school age and under, who are sick or are recovering from sickness, whose parents or guardians are incapable of taking care of them at home during the daytime because of work, health conditions, family affairs and etc.
WHERE:
A day care service for sick children will be provided in nursery rooms in medical institutions. Recovering children will be provided with day care in day care rooms for recovering children in nursery schools.
WHAT LEVEL OF SICKNESS IS ACCEPTABLE?
  • Common childhood diseases such as cold and indigestion.
  • Infectious diseases such as measles, chicken pox and rubella
  • Chronic diseases such as asthma
  • Injuries such as fractures
REGISTRATION & RESERVATION:
For details including open hours and fees, please inquire at each facility. Some facilities require a prior registration and reservation. When you use day care service for sick children, please go to see a doctor at the medical institution where the day care service is provided.
