This exhibition conveys the multifaceted realities of the atomic bombing through five themes drawn from testimonies of the hibakusha: "The devastation at the time of the bombing", "The destruction of local communities and families", "Long-term and persistent disabilities", "Mental and psychological impact", and "Messages for future generations". Through video footage and archival materials, the exhibition aims to communicate the harsh realities of the atomic bombing as experienced by the hibakusha and the thoughts and feelings they carried so that their stories will be passed on and shared by as many visitors as possible.
